Each month Massac Junior High School staff members nominate and then vote for one female and male 7th grader and one male and 8th grade student. Students are nominated by teachers based on character traits such as being responsible, respectful, caring, fair and trustworthy.

Dominique Russell - 8th Grade
Dominique Russell is an 8th grade student at Massac Junior High and a member of Beta Club and the MJHS volleyball team. She spends her down time watching youtube, singing, sleeping, eating and just enjoys spending time with family. Dominique plans to attend Shawnee Community College and then go on to a university. She plans to major in electrical engineering and her future goal is to take over her dad’s business. She dreams of traveling someday to New York, Alabama, Washington D.C., California and Mexico.
Nate Koneman - 7th Grade
Nate Koneman is a 7th grade student at Massac Junior High and is a member of the MJHS band. Outside of school he enjoys karate and soccer. In his down time he enjoys playing drums, guitar and his Xbox. His favorite book and movie is The Maze Runner Series. Nate plans to attend Murray State University to attain a degree in some type of engineering. In the future he hopes to keep laying sports and musical instruments. He also plans to do some traveling, but not sure where.
Fisher Holley - 8th Grade
Fisher Holley is an 8th grade student at Massac Junior High. Fisher loves to play baseball outside of school. His favorite movies are any of the Marvel movies. Fisher plans to attend Murray State University to major in architecture engineering. He dreams of traveling to Hawaii someday.
Emma Love- 7th Grade
Emma Love is a 7th grade student at Massac Junior High and a member of Beta Club, volleyball and track. Outside of school she is active in her church youth group, visits the elderly, and helps at her family business. She loves spending down time singing, loves fixing others hair, and just loves to be active outdoors. She really enjoys watching murder mysteries when she is forced to spend time inside. She hopes to one day attend Harding University to major in Interior Design. She also would like to attend a beauty school. She dreams of traveling to Canada and places like Nicaragua and Haiti to install clean water wells.
