MJHS Dress Up Days

We will have dress up days at MJHS on January 19-21. We are asking for a $1 donation, but understand if a student cannot contribute. They are still welcome to participate. All funds will be given to the family of Graham Hosman, the 5 year old grandson of Coach Joe Hosman that has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Students can earn a point for their house for participation. Winners will be selected each day to earn additional points for their house.

MJHS House System

We have 6 houses at MJHS. Students are randomly sorted into a house. We hope to use the house system to build a better sense of community at MJHS. Students will work with their house members throughout the year to help support each other, our school and our community. We will have house meetings 2 days a month and students are required to attend these meetings. They are held during homeroom time from 2:33-2:55.

2020-2021 House Meeting Dates

All students are required to stay until 2:55pm on these meeting dates. Students will only be allowed to leave early on these dates if a parent comes to the office and signs them out.

Each house represents one of our core values.

What is Homeroom?

Please click one of the links below for information about our HOMEROOM/RTI period at the end of the day from 2:33 - 2:55. Both of these links will take you to letters that went home with parents at registration in August.
